FMJC COMMUNITY

Living holy and serving with every ability

Dedicated to holiness and service for individuals with disabilities.

The Franciscan Missionaries of Jesus Crucified (FMJC) are communities of consecrated lay women and men, including many with disabilities, living as a secular institute. Founded in 1987, we seek to be recognized as a secular institute of pontifical rite. Our mission is to offer persons with disabilities a path to total consecration, personal holiness, and dedicated service to the Church and those in need. FMJC members live by the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, and obedience, embracing their secular lives to bring the Gospel's transformative power to the world.

Anyone can be called by God to a life of the evangelical counsels and of total dedication to Him.

The Franciscan Missionaries of Jesus Crucified is a unique opportunity for persons with disabilities to respond to such a vocation.
